What does being part of our church mean?
Becoming a Congregant of Hypha Humboldt Community:
-
We are: Non Dogmaic and Egaltarian
Being part of Hypha Humboldt Community means joining a sacred and supportive spiritual congregation where you are guided on your journey of healing and connection through our deeply-rooted ceremonial practices. As a congregant, you are empowered to fully understand our bylaws, engage with our ceremonial procedures, and ensure your well-being by completing a medical intake screening. Whether you choose to participate in a self-facilitated ceremony from the comfort of your home or take part in our retreat programs, we provide unwavering support as you prepare for and integrate your sacred ceremonies into your life.

How do I become a congregant?
At Hypha Humboldt Community, inclusivity is a cornerstone of our values. There are no congregant tithes (A tithe is traditionally understood as a practice of giving or paying a tenth part (10%) of one’s income or resources, typically for the support of a religious organization or spiritual community) required to be part of our religious community, as we believe that sacred healing should be accessible to all. You are officially welcomed as a congregant if you actively participate in either our self-facilitated ceremony program or our retreat offerings.
-
Community, Spiritual Freedom and Sovereignty
Our community is founded on the principles of spiritual freedom, honoring sacred sovereignty, and supporting personal authority. As a religious nonprofit organization, we are guided by our bylaws, which align with California's Nonprofit Corporation Law and Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). We function as a church dedicated to charitable purposes, and we remain committed to fostering spiritual growth, healing, and sacred connection among our congregants, without private gain.
