Support our Mission

Q&A
If I donate, what will the money go towards?

-
Legal support fees are continuous. Legal support helps our congregants and our religious leaders practice our sacred work.

-Supporting scholarships for congregants that cannot afford to attend ceremony without financial support.

-Administrative costs of our director, administrative assistant, ceremonialist, and integration coach’s efforts and work.

-Your gift will support us in amplifying our goals and values of sovereign use of sacred plant medicine.

-Our goal is to offer subsided ceremonies to our community. We want to offset some of the costs of the container with philanthropic donations. We’re able to offer the sliding scale with these funds.

Sacred Reciprocity

The Nagoya Protocol, adopted in 2010, is an international treaty that ensures fair and equitable sharing of benefits from the use of genetic resources. As an extension of the Convention on Biological Diversity, it provides a legal framework for access to these resources and the traditional knowledge linked to them. For our church, which uses entheogens such as Psilocybe cubensis, the protocol is relevant even if the exact origins of our strains are unclear. We recognize that these resources may have indigenous roots and commit to honoring this heritage by supporting initiatives like the IRI (Indigenous Reciprocity Initiative), backed by the Chacruna Institute. Synthetic psilocybin also falls under this protocol, emphasizing the need for shared benefits with the cultures traditionally using these strains. By adhering to the Nagoya Protocol, we contribute to de-colonization efforts, support sacred reciprocity, and uphold our responsibility as conscientious global citizens. Join us in fostering a respectful relationship with nature and indigenous communities through donations, advocacy, and mindful practices.
